Is the stable based on Staking or CFP (Coaching for Profits)?
We offer both Staking and CFP models, available for both Metagame Pro and Metagame Foundation tiers.
What is my profit split percentage?
The percentage depends on the tier you join. Regardless of the starting point, we work with a progressive deal, meaning your percentage increases as your lifetime profits grow. The more you win, the higher your share.
How do withdrawals and "Makeup" work?
Withdrawals are processed monthly, provided the player is in profit and not in makeup.
Example: If you finish Month 1 at -$100, there is no withdrawal. If you finish Month 2 at +$200, the first $100 covers the previous month’s makeup, and the remaining $100 is split between you and Metagame according to your contract.
Does Rakeback count as profit?
Yes. All value generated, table profits, site promotions, and rakeback, is added to your total profit and split according to your contract percentage.
Is the contract based on time or hand volume?
We use a hybrid contract: it sets both a volume target and a timeframe. Whichever is reached first concludes the cycle for renewal. This ensures a clear career roadmap for both high-volume grinders and those with a more steady pace.

What is the minimum hand sample required to apply?
How should I record and submit my application video? Is it mandatory?
I only play MTTs. Can I apply for the Cash Game team?
Absolutely! Many of our top-performing players transitioned from tournaments. You just need to provide a detailed Sharkscope link and a sample of Cash Game hands. This sample doesn’t need to be as large as a regular Cash player’s; we just want to assess your technical baseline.
I only play on mobile apps (PokerBros, PPPoker, etc.). How do I apply?
No problem at all. If you don’t use a tracker (such as PT4 or HM3) to capture your hands on these apps, simply send us screenshots of your graphs and statistics generated by the app itself. The key is for us to be able to analyze your recent performance and volume.
Category 3: Routine & Commitment
How many hours of dedication are expected?
Professional poker requires consistency. We recommend a minimum of 5 hours a day, 5 days a week. This includes both playing time and study sessions to ensure you never stop evolving.
Can I join the team while having another job?
It’s possible, as long as you can meet the minimum hours mentioned above. However, high-level poker is extremely competitive; we only recommend joining if you truly have the schedule to treat poker as a profession.
Can I choose which sites to play on?
Our intelligence team constantly monitors the most profitable tables and the best traffic. To ensure your maximum profitability, we designate the specific sites where you should be playing.
Do I need to buy trackers like PT4, HM3, or H2N?
Yes. A tracker is a fundamental tool for any professional. It allows us to identify your leaks and accelerate your growth. For lower limits, the Small Stakes versions are very affordable and are an essential investment in your career.
Category 4: The Selection Process
Do I need to be a winning player to be accepted?
Not necessarily. We analyze your potential, discipline, and learning capacity. We’ve had many success stories from players who weren’t profitable when they joined or were accepted on their second attempt. If you are hungry to evolve, the door is open.
How does the selection process work?
Our goal is to place every player in the tier that best fits their current stage. The process takes an average of 5 business days for initial feedback and works as follows:
Stage 1
Data Analysis: We carefully review your application form, result screenshots, and the submitted video.
Stage 2
Technical Interview: If you pass the initial analysis, we will schedule an interview with one of our analysts to align expectations and get to know your profile.
Stage 3
Trial Period (Exclusive to Metagame Foundation): We offer a 10-day trial period where the player gains access to the team’s basic strategy. During this stage, players use their own bankroll at stakes they feel comfortable with; all profits or losses during these 10 days belong to the player. Our objective in this phase is to evaluate the player’s coachability and their ability to apply the instructions provided.
Stage 4
Contract Presentation & Onboarding: Upon final approval, we will present the contract details for your review. Once everything is settled and the contract is signed, you immediately begin your journey with Metagame.
